About This Webinar:

As colleges shutter traditional language programs, employers find it increasingly difficult to find candidates with bilingual skills.

Join UPCEA and Vista Higher Learning for a facilitated panel discussion around the emerging need for workplace-aligned language programming in both the credit and non-credit spaces. This panel will address needs in the 2- and 4-year degree, technical, and career-related training areas for a range of fields in which language skills are in high demand. We’re coming together to share data and ideas for creating pathways for all learners to access systematic language learning beyond high school.

Come join the conversation on the need for language learning and credentials from the trades through national security roles. We’ll discuss existing initiatives, workforce gaps, and data showing this overlooked area of workforce alignment.
